A day sailing around Ibiza and Formentera

10:00am: Set off by boat from Ibiza’s port and begin the crossing over to the island of Formentera. The duration of the crossing depends on the type of boat you choose to hire. If you choose a sailing boat, depending on the wind, it will take about three hours. If you choose a motorboat, depending on which one you choose, the route from Playa d’en Bossa to Formentera will take between 30 and 60 minutes. Get comfy and enjoy the adventure!

Midday: visit the island of Espalmador, one of the best-kept treasures in the Pityusic Islands. It’s an unspoilt island (there’s only one house) which you can only access by boat. Espalmador offers one of the best beaches in the Balearic Islands, so it’s one of the top spots to take a dip in the clear waters of the Mediterranean.

Lunch in Ses Illetes: Leave for Ses Illetes at lunchtime. This is Formentera’s most famous beach. Its name comes from the numerous islets dotted around the water. It’s particularly popular for its turquoise water and fine, white sand, making you feel like you’re in the heart of the Caribbean. Ses Illetes is one of the best beaches for a meal in Formentera, as it offers a wide range of cuisine. Some of the most famous beach bars in Ses Illetes offer a dinghy service and will take whatever food you fancy, right to your boat! You’ll be able to enjoy the most exclusive experience!

Head back to Ibiza: After lunch, we’ll head back to Ibiza. The adventure doesn’t end here! We’ll make a final stop at the vibrant beach clubs on Ses Salines beach to enjoy a last dip in the clear water and take in Ibiza’s liveliest atmosphere. After visiting Ses Salines beach, we’ll head back to the Port, where we’ll end this trip around the coast of Ibiza and Formentera.
