1. A perfect climate:

The temperature on the island of Ibiza in October is much more pleasant than in the summer. The intense heat gives way to a gentle climate, filled with sunny days that are perfect for the beach, and cooler evenings. The temperature of the sea water is still enjoyable for those who want to take advantage and make the most of the last swims of the summer.

2. Lower prices:

There are considerable differences between travelling to Ibiza in July and August, and doing it in October. The lower prices mean that visitors can make their holiday money go further, booking their ideal beachfront hotel or a meal in a restaurant so popular that bookings in high summer are out of the question. Even the price of car or bike hire falls in October.

3. Tranquillity:

It is a real luxury to be able to enjoy the incredible bays and beaches of Ibiza in October, especially on weekdays. Take advantage of this trip to visit the most beautiful parts of the island; the places that are often too full of tourists in the summer to appreciate them fully. Visit the streets and bars of Dalt Vila, bathe in the crystalline waters of Cala Conta, Cala Saladeta or Las Salinas, or you can even take a boat trip to the neighbouring island of Formentera.

4. Closing parties:

Music lovers have a serious reason to visit Ibiza in October: the closing parties. These often take place in the last week of September and first week of October, although the discos and party venues are increasingly pushing back their closing dates. If you want to end the season with a bang, note these dates in your diary: El Row Ibiza closing party: 6 October; Circoloco closing party: 8 October; closing party for Amnesia: 13 October; Solomun + 1 closing party: 14 October.

5. The other Ibiza:

If you want to see the real heart of the island, October is the best month to come. You can visit the villages in the interior, with their craft workshops and stores, taste the delicious traditional dishes of Ibiza, explore the natural environment of the island and take part in open air activities… October offers the peace and ideal weather conditions for it.
